Darrell Morgan

Darrell Dean Morgan, age 70, of Albia, Iowa died Sunday, August 27, 2006 at Oakwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Albia. He was born May 7, 1936 in Albia, IA to Harry Oscar and Alice (Repp) Morgan. He married Marie Ann Carson on June 16, 1969 in Tijuana Mexico. To this union four children were born: Timothy, Thomas, Tamatha, and Tangi. Darrell was a graduate of Albia High School, class of 1954. He attended two years of college, before becoming a Senior Personnel Training Officer for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Corporation in Long Beach, CA. Darrell supported and volunteered for Trinity Broadcasting Network. He loved stargazing, UFO watching, smoking his pipe, videotaping shows, and singing and playing his guitar. Darrell is survived by his children, Timothy D. (Taeler) Morgan Escondido, CA, Thomas Morgan and partner Edward West, Tamatha A. (Garry) Kent of Oxford, IA, and Tangi M. Morgan and her companion Chris J. Caudill of Albia, IA; Four grandchildren, Edwin Dean Caudill, Jacob Allen Kent, Tara Marie Kent, Clara Marie Caudill. He is also survived by three brothers, Lloyd (Ruth) Morgan, Verl Morgan, and David (Kara) Morgan all of Albia, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Alice (Clara) Morgan; three brothers, Floyd Repp, Lawrence Morgan, and Harry Morgan; and one sister, Vivian Czerwiec. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 1, 2006 at the Winfield Funeral Home in Albia with Rev. Brad Gray officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Oakview Cemetery in Albia. Visitation will open after 9:00 A.M. Thursday, August 31, 2006 at the Winfield Funeral Home in Albia with the family present from 6-8 P.M. that evening. Memorials have been established to the family.
