Darrel Herold

Funeral services for Darrel Herold, 76, formerly of Lacona will be Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 10AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in rural Lacona. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lacona. Darrel passed away Thursday, April 5 in Frankfort, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Vera; his wife Betty and infant son Darwin. Darrel is survived by his wife JoAnn of Frankfort; children:Dale Herold of Pleasantville, Janet Carel of Carlisle, Joyce Cruiz of Des Moines, Judy Hartz of Lacona, and Merlin Herold of Des Moines; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; siblings: James Herold of Milo, Melvin Herold, Lucille Barnes, and Maxine Runyan all of Indianola.
