Danny Lee Piper

Services for Danny Piper, 42, of Britt, Iowa will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Danny's adult sons, Cody or Ty, to be used to help the family.

Danny L. Piper was born April 15, 1980, to Karen Piper and Michael Piper and left us September 26, 2022.

Danny leaves his loving family to mourn his passing; sons, Cody and Ty Piper; daughters, Payton and Kadince Piper; mother, Karen Piper; father, Michael Piper; sister, Michelle (Jamey) Harvey; nephews: Jamison, Jasper, and Justus Harvey; as well as other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and “special brother” Luke Masters.

Danny graduated from Chariton High School with the class of 1998.

After graduation, Danny moved to Clear Lake, Iowa where he began his adult life. He went to work at Lichtsinn Motors in Forest City, Iowa as a detailer and was later promoted to Service Manager. Lichtsinn Motors changed to Pritchard Motor, and Danny worked for them until Forest City Ford reached out to him to come work for them. This opportunity enriched his life, as he was very happy there and thoroughly enjoyed his coworkers, management, and his customers.

After moving to Clear Lake, he welcomed his son, Cody in 2001 and Ty in 2003. Later, he welcomed his baby girls, Payton in 2011 and Kadi in 2015. Danny was very proud of all his children. His kids were his greatest joy in life. He always put them first above everything else. He loved spending time with his kids. He took them to the park, on trips, shopping, and out to eat. Danny always remembered the girls on special occasions with bouquets of flowers.

Danny’s interests outside of work were helping coach the semiprofessional football team the North Iowa Bucks, softball, fishing, and golfing. He especially enjoyed watching the Denver Bronco football games.
