Curtis Scott Weis, a loving and caring man, passed away on May 10th, 2023, at the age of 35. The visitation for Curtis will be held on May 17th, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Milo located at 201 Walnut St., Milo, IA, followed by the funeral service at 6:00 PM at the same location with a dinner to follow.
Curtis was born on November 25th, 1987, in Des Moines, Iowa to Scott Weis and Marina (Farrell) Dittmer. Curtis was a talented musician who could play anything with strings. His love for music was evident in his life as he always enjoyed playing different instruments and listening to all genres of music. He was so kindhearted and would go out of his way to help people in need.
Curtis cherished spending time with family and friends. He always loved playing games. He didn't care what game it was, as long as it was with the ones he loved. Not only did he love people, but he was also an animal lover, always compassionate and caring towards animals. One thing that stood out about Curtis was his love for ketchup. He would often have a bottle of ketchup in his pocket just in case it was needed. He had a great sense of humor and always knew how to make others laugh.
Curtis will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His memory will be forever cherished by his mother and step-father, Marina and Robert Dittmer; brother, Kenny (Kara) Koons; step-brother, Jeremy (Jessica) Dittmer; step-sister, Amber Dittmer; nephews, Tanar Koons, Paul Dittmer, and Waylon Dittmer; niece, Brooklyn Dittmer; uncles, Allen (Tina) Farrell, Mike (Donna) Farrell, and Larry (Karen) Weis; aunts, Linda Farrell (Mike), Debra Dittmer, Anita Dittmer, Nadine Thompson, Sandee (Bill) Lehman, and Stacy (Steve) Davis; and the countless other family and friends whose lives he touched.
Curtis was preceded in death by his father, Scott Weis; grandparents, Pete and Ava Jean Weis and Jerry and Joyce Fortune; step grandfather, F.J. Dittmer; and an aunt, Carleen Mason.
