Connie L. Lehigh

Funeral services for Connie Lehigh, 61, of Chariton will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in Chariton. Family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Memorials may be made in care of Connie's family.

Connie was born February 27, 1961 at the Yocom Hospital in Chariton, one of ten children born to Alfred and Ruby Shore. She was raised in Chariton and attended Chariton High School with the class of 1979. She was married to Greg Lehigh, they were blessed with four children: Francis, Mike, Christina, and Daniel.

Connie loved helping and taking care of others. This showed in her work at the nursing home for many years. Connie had a big heart and loved children. She was a great advocate for all children, especially those with disabilities. Connie also enjoyed seeing and talking with people while she worked as a cashier at Dollar General and Caseys.

Connie passed away June 25, 2022 and was welcomed in Heaven by her infant son, Francis, her parents, and several siblings. Connie loved her family and is survived by her husband Greg Lehigh; children: Mike Lehigh, Christina Lehigh, and Daniel (Starlie) Lehigh; 5 grandchildren: Jordan, Shannon, David, Scarlett, and Willa; along with many relatives and friends.
