Clara ?Cookie? Elizabeth Stanley, age 53, of Albia died Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at the Monroe County Hospital. She was born March 10, 1952 in South Bend, Indiana to Charles and Betty (Kuberski) Kitchen. Cookie was a graduate of Davis County High School, class of 1970. She then attended Indian Hills Community College, receiving her bookkeeping certificate. She was a supervisor at Ragtime Industries in Albia. Cookie was the mother of two loving sons, David and Jimmie who?s father Jerry Stanley was Cookie?s husband for 20 years. Cookies family also consisted of three granddaughters, Amanda, Allie and Shy Stanley; and one grandson, Austin Stanley, which she enjoyed spending her time with. She was also anticipating the birth of her fifth grandchild. Cookie is also survived by two precious daughter-in-laws, Deana and Angel Stanley; three sisters, Rose Kitchen, Terry Kuberski, and Sherri Kuberski; best friend, Sherrie Caster and her children, Kim, Rene, Brandi, and Bryan and their families; and extended family, Betty Kint, and Randy and (Marilyn) Kint, and their families. Cookie is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janet Rose; and brother, Michael Kuberski. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, February 11, 2006 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Albia with Rev. Kevin Leveck officiating. Burial will be in the Oakview Cemetery in Albia, IA. Visitation will open at 12 noon, Friday, February 10, 2006 at the Winfield Funeral Home in Albia with the family present 6-8 P.M. Friday evening. Memorials have been established to Hospice of Monroe County, Trinity United Methodist Church, Ragtime Industries.
