Chris D. Hagen

Chris Hagen, of Melcher, passed away August 10, 2020 at the age of 53. No services are planned at this time. Christopher Dean Hagen was born September 16, 1966 to Cleo and Cheryl (Helble) Hagen in Des Moines, Iowa. Chris attended school in Pleasantville, Iowa and graduated from Pleasantville High School with the class of 1985. In February of 1986, Chris joined the Army National Guard. Chris was proud to serve his country. Chris worked for Tension Envelope in Des Moines for eighteen years. He also worked in the maintenance department for Melcher-Dallas Elementary School and really enjoyed his work there. When Chris wasn't working, he loved woodworking and deer hunting. He enjoyed making his own deer jerky. Chris also enjoyed spending time with his family. Chris will be dearly missed by his parents, Cleo and Cheryl Hagen of Melcher, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
