Arnold Ray Agan

Arnold Ray Agan, age 71, of Carlisle, Iowa, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Accura HealthCare of Pleasantville. No services are planned.

Arnold was born on July 18, 1951, in Knoxville, Iowa, to Kelly and Darlene Agan. He attended and graduated from Knoxville High School. Following high school, Arnold served in the United States Navy. After his time in the military, he became employed at Maytag in Newton in the maintenance department and retired after 35 years. Arnold enjoyed guns and cars and was a member of NRA and United Auto Workers. Arnold was united in marriage to Linda Goff in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Linda Agan; son, Davey Agan of Knoxville; daughter, Angie (Ted) Claney of Frisco, Texas; sister, Karen (Cliff) Jones; stepbrothers, John (Darla) Whitlatch of Pella, and Joe Whitlatch of Knoxville. Arnold is also survived by his aunt Janet (David) Ritchie; stepchildren; grandchildren; and great grandchildren.

Arnold is preceded in death by his parents, Kelly and Darlene Agan; uncle, Ancil (Wilma) Borchert; and aunt, Mary Schrader.
