Angel Ostermeyer Smith

Angel L. Ostermeyer Smith, age 39, went to be with the Lord, March 12, 2007, while surrounded by her loving family. A Funeral Service is being held on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Winfield Funeral Home in Albia at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held Wednesday March 14, 2007 opening at noon, and the family will be present from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday evening. Angel was born January 13, 1968 in Albia, the daughter of LeRoy and Leona (McKim) Ostermeyer. She graduated from the Albia Community High School in 1986. She married Dan Smith of Albia, they later divorced. Angel was an employee at Mom?s Place in Albia. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor, quick wit, and kindness towards others. She attended services at the River Life Family Worship Center. Angel is survived by her parents; her children, Dakotah Jake Ostermeyer, Tara Jane Ostermeyer of Albia, and Travis Daniel Kaisand of Brooklyn; three sisters, Julie (Allan) Barnes, April Crall, and Patricia Ostermeyer; brother, Raymond (Ann) Ostermeyer; nine nieces and nephews, and nine great nieces and nephews. Several loving aunts, uncles and cousins also survive Angel. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and an infant brother. Angel was such a loving person; she gave the gift of life to others by being a registered donor with the Iowa Donor Network. Her body will be cremated after the service. In lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be directed to the children.
