Agnes Grace Eastlick, age 101, of Albia, Iowa died Thursday, April 20, 2006 at the Oakwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Albia. She was born December 27, 1904 in Sigourney, Iowa to Michael and Mary (Mayger) Hornick. She married Sam Eastlick on August 5, 1925 in Waterloo, Iowa. He died November 15, 1993. Agnes was a graduate of Kirkville High School in Kirkville, Iowa. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Albia, and also of the Golden Circle of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Mary?s in Albia. She loved, raise flowers, and she was a wonderful cook. Agnes is survived by three sons, Bill (Donna) Eastlick of Ottumwa, Bob (Millie) Eastlick of Surprise, Arizona, and Richard Eastlick of Albia; one son-in-law, Leonard Wasko of Ottumwa; 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son in infancy, Sammy Eastlick; one daughter, Dorla Wasko; one daughter-in-law, Sandy Eastlick; 5 brothers, Andrew, George, John, Harry, and Frank Hornick; 5 sisters, Helen Magness, Velma Herteen, Elizabeth Vos, and Clara Vos, and Mary Kausalik. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, April 24 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Albia with Rev. William Walter, C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery in Albia. Visitation will open after 12 (noon) P.M. on Sunday, April 23 at the Winfield Funeral Home in Albia with the family present from 6-8 P.M. Sunday evening. There will be a 4:00 P.M. Rosary Service and a 6:00 P.M. Christian Wake Service held Sunday at the funeral home.
