Tom Krpan

Tom Krpan, 66, of Melcher-Dallas passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at his home. Tom was born in Knoxville on December 4, 1946 to William & Dorothy (Bingham) Krpan. He received his education from Melcher-Dallas High School graduating in 1966. Tom served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Suzanne Kauzlarich on May 9, 1970. To this union were two children: Stacey and Shana. He later married Jennifer Stubbs on March 4, 1990. Tom worked at 3M in Knoxville for 29 years before retirement in 2008. He was a member of Dallcher Legion Post #632 in Melcher-Dallas. He enjoyed classic rock n roll music, classic cars, motor cross racing, gardening and time spent with his family. Survivors include; wife, Jennifer Krpan of Melcher-Dallas, two children: Stacey (Sandy) Krpan of Melcher-Dallas, Shana Krpan of Knoxville, four grandchildren: Emilie, Steven, Ryan Krpan; Stacia Sue Mason, sister, Cheryl (Richard) Schaefer of Carlisle and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Terry Krpan. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas. Interment will be in Dallas Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas. Memorials may be given HCI Care Services in Knoxville.
