Shari Lynne Boyce

Services for Shari Lynne Allen-Boyce, 44 of Garden Grove, will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Grace Baptist Church in Chariton at 1:00 p.m. Pierschbacher Funeral Home is assisting her family with arrangements. Memorials may be made in care of Shari's family (Sharon Hunter - 18949 490th Street, Chariton, Iowa 50049). Shari Lynne Allen was born August 15, 1974 to Dean and Sharon Allen in Corydon, Iowa. She graduated from Russell High School in 1992. Shari was blessed with five children: Colton, Hunter, Dustan, Brooke and Trystan. Shari was a fun and energetic person with a bubbly personality. Her joyous laugh was recognizable anywhere. She had a heart of gold, loved people, and had a tendency to see the good in everyone. Her love of people motivated her to become a nurse. Shari loved working with the elderly and listening to their stories. Although she wasn't a great driver, Shari loved fast cars. She also had a great love of animals, especially cats and dogs. Shari enjoyed getting "dolled" up. She liked fingernail polish, makeup, jewelry, and anything pink. Shari passed away January 20, 2019. She is survived by her mother, Sharon (Bud Welch) Hunter; father, Dean (Diane) Allen; grandmothers, Martha Hunter and Marilyn Cook; children: Colton (Alex Johnson) Van Loon, Hunter (Jodi) Van Loon, Dustan Van Loon, Brooke Boyce, and Trystan Boyce; grandsons, Blake and Jackson Van Loon; sister, Karen Allen; step brothers, Shad and Todd Cook; along with many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Bill Hunter; grandparents, Willard and Elenora Allen; and grandpa, Dick Cook. Celebration of Life
