Richard Wesley Iddings

Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher Dallas for Richard Wesley Iddings. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 11:00 am at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Pleasantville. Burial with military rites will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the St. Paul's Untied Methodist Church or to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be left at www.pierschbacherfuneralhome.com Richard Wesley Iddings, age 78, of Pleasantville died on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the Pleasant Care Living Center. He was born on September 28, 1933 to Lorris and Lora (Flanders) Iddings. Richard was enlisted with the Untied States Army. He married Darlene Wymore on December 29, 1956, and they were blessed with four children: Michael, Pamela, Karen, and Ronald. He was a Drywall Contractor. He was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Pleasantville. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and truly enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Darlene of Pleasantville, children: Michael Iddings of Pleasantville, Pamela (Darrell) Kampwerth of Huntley, IL, Karen (Doug) Reynolds of Milo, Ronald Iddings of Pleasantville, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, siblings, Ellen Folsom of Pleasantville, and Adrian Iddings of Knoxville. He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Lora Mae during infancy, Franklin Iddings, Betty Page, and Elena 'Bobbi' Jones.
