Richard Eash was born February 7, 1945 in Marshalltown, Iowa to Dwight and Mildred Arnold Eash. He attended school in Albion and moved to Marshalltown his senior year graduating in 1963. He worked at Fisher Controls in Marshalltown after graduation. He was married to Deanna Gronwoldt on February 14, 1964, they were blessed with two boys: Jared and Scott. During this time he worked for International Harvester in the Quad Cities until 1985. He was a proud union member. He worked a number of jobs as a mechanic, carpenter, electrician, or in other manufacturing jobs until he was able to get back on with International, this time at the International Truck and Engine in Springfield. He retired from there after a total of 36 years with the company. Richard was married to Teri Lynne Hartwig on October 8, 1988. He welcomed her daughter Kathleen like his own daughter. They moved to Urbana, Ohio in 1989 where they lived and made many close friends for 23 years. They moved to Russell, Iowa where they could be closer to family and to both of their passions of fishing, horseback riding, and camping. Richard could do anything and had done most things. He loved to fly and had many hours as a pilot, he loved to create, renovate, fix, and build. He did everything with passion and enjoyed cooking, playing, guitar, and singing. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Of his hobbies, fishing was his greatest love. He was a master fisherman and loved sharing this passion with his friends. He believed his Faith was the very first part of his life and right next to that was the love for his family. He loved to be with his wife, Teri Lynne, and with his children and grandchildren. Richard will be greatly missed by his wife, Teri Lynne Eash; children: Jared (Raquel) Eash, Scott (Michelle) Eash, and Kathleen (Sven) Raeder; six grandchildren: Tyler, Courtney, Trever, Tanner, Jayden, and Alexander; two great grandchildren: Eden and Kacen; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
