Mary enjoyed being on the farm. She loved the outdoors and everything nature had to offer. Mary looked forward to every spring when she could spend time in her garden. Mary was a member of the Knoxville Church of the Nazarene. She taught 3rd and 4th grade Sunday school class for many years with her husband, Lowell. The two did many things for the church; whether it was picking walnuts and selling to raise money for the Alabaster Fund or holding their annual Poor Man's Supper for senior citizen's every fall. Mary enjoyed helping people and her church. She was a big asset to her family and her church and she will be dearly missed by both. Survivors include three children: Sharon Bebee of Des Moines, Lynn Dachenbach (Eileen) of Knoxville, Lee Dachenbach (Pam) of Knoxville, 7 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lysle Ellsworth Poush (Elsie) and a sister Evelyn Caris (Robert).
