Funeral services for Margaret Hembry, 86, of Milo will be Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Milo. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM on Tuesday with a Rosary service at 5:30 PM at the church. Friends may call during the day at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Milo. Memorials to her church, the Milo Rescue, or to Hospice of Central Iowa. Condolences may be left for the family at www.pierschbacherfuneralhome.com . Margaret was born July 24, 1921 in Leon, Iowa to William and Hazel Buckingham. She was married to Clifford Hembry on July 24, 1940 in Leon. They were blessed with 7 children: Theresa, William, Mary, Ann, Karen, Phylis, and Douglas. She was a farm wife, homemaker, and most importantly a mother. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, and gardening. she also enjoyed the music her brothers played. Margaret was a member of St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society and belonged to the Miraculous Medal Association which was very important to her. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Clifford in 2001; a grandson Marshall; and siblings: Raymond, Charles, and Elaine Van Pelt. She is survived by her children: Theresa (Doc) Ripperger of Greensburg, IN, William (Kathy) Hembry of Olympia, WA, Mary (Dean) Wadle of Sierra Vista, AZ, Ann (Warren Gideon) Garner of Milo, Karen Jenkins of Banks, OR, Phylis (Richard) Runyon of Chariton, and Douglas (Joan) Hembry of Milo; 20 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; and siblings: John (Gladys) Buckingham, James (Sarah) Buckingham, Joan (Davie) Smith, and Joe (Rosetta) Buckingham.
