Lawrence "Larry" Zern

Memorial services for Lawrence "Larry" Zern, 69, of Russell, will be Thursday, May 11, at 10:00 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of Larry's family. Larry grew up and lived in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania most of his life. He moved to Iowa in his later years to retire. Larry enjoyed remote control, computers, and electronic systems. He was very creative. Larry passed away at his home on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Surviving are his children: Ellen (Tommy) Blair and Andrew (Deborah) Zern; 9 grandchildren: Ron, Jesse, Victoria, Dustin, Adriene, Hillary, Laurin, MacKenzie, Hannah, and Avery. Also surviving are his brother, Wayne (Linda) Eyster and niece, Kenda (Harry) Speraw. Preceding him in death were his mother, Martha Eyster; and brother, Kenneth Zern.
