Jesse Theron Fisher

A Celebration of Life for Jesse Theron Fisher, 40, will be Friday, March 18, 2022, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. All donations made through the Tribute Fund link will go directly to Theron's family.

Jesse Theron Fisher was born October 3, 1981, to Mary Irene Fisher in Chariton, Iowa. Theron grew up in Russell and attended Russell Community School. Theron was a kind and generous child. Even into adulthood, he continued to be the kind of person that would give the shirt off of his back. Theron was a gentle giant.

From the moment Theron was born, he and his Uncle Gary were always together. They loved spending time outdoors together, hunting and fishing. Theron found great pride in being able to provide food for his family after a successful hunt or day at the lake. Theron and Gary also enjoyed camping.

Theron had to overcome many hardships in his life. In spite of this, he was never negative. His positive attitude kept him going and helped to pull others through hard times. Theron was a gentleman and had a soft spot for children. His loving and caring nature will be greatly missed by so many.

Theron passed away March 5, 2022. He is survived by his uncle and best friend, Garold "Gary" Wayne Smith; aunt, Rose Annette Smith; cousin, Wade Burk; close friends: Katie Oxenreider, Kimberley Fails, and Marquella Witt; and many more friends. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Terri Burk.
