Gloria Wallace

Gloria Jean Wallace, 65, passed away May 24, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. Gloria was born in Chariton, Iowa to William Daugherty and Edna Ripperger on April, 14, 1948. Gloria married James Floyd Wallace. Gloria spent her life as a homemaker and enjoyed time around the table with family and friends. She also enjoyed her cats and striking up a conversation with everyone in the room. Gloria loved to watch reruns of old movie and TV shows. Gloria was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Iowa City, Iowa. Gloria is survived by her two children, son, David (Virginia) Wallace of Fort Washington, MD and daughter, Danielle Wallace of Houston, TX; her father William Daugherty of Lacona, IA; and two siblings, brother, Richard Daugherty of Indianola, IA and sister, Janice (Richard) Gruber or Dallas, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, James and mother, Edna. Services for Gloria will be at 11:00a.m. Friday, May 31, 2013 at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lacona.
