Gayla Joyce Burk

A Celebration of Life for Gayla Burk, 76 of Chariton, will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Interment will follow at the Chariton Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Gayla passed away December 14, 2016. She is survived by her children: Carolyn Burk of Durant, OK, Carla (Robert) Griffin of Chariton, and Wayde (Cheryl) Burk of Chariton; 16 grandchildren: Chad, Chris, Rachael, Ron, Cody, Josh, Wendy, Amanda, Clint, Jake, Jen, Caleb, Savannah, Megan, Travis, and Trenton; 35 great grandchildren; and her brother, Don (Cathy) Flesher of Moscow, IA. Gayla was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Burk; daughter, Terri Dawson Evans; and siblings: Willard Flesher, Maxine Brittain, Willie Flesher, Darrell Flesher, Melzine Roberts, and Darlene Sedars.
