Frederick L. Fridley

Frederick Leroy Fridley was born February 13, 1948, at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa, to Dale and Inez (Speed) Fridley. He graduated high school from Southeast Warren in 1966. Fred was a US Army Vietnam Veteran serving from 1968 until 1970. He was also a member of the American Legion serving as Post Commander in Kansas City. He was blessed with two children: Frederick Michael and Jennifer Jo. Fred was a truck driver and a farmer who enjoyed farming. He was a happy go lucky person and he loved his time with his family. Fred passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the age of 63 in his home. He is survived by his children: Frederick Michael Fridley of Milo and Jennifer Jo Fridley of Indianola; six granddaughters: Marissa, Kasey, Zoe, Cougar, Sturgis, and Glorious; a brother, Ron (Kristen) Fridley of Milo; four nephews: Phil, John, Richard, and Dean; other relatives, and friends.
