Graveside Services Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Norwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:30 AM on Friday before the service at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Memorials ~ Iowa Veterans Home, Marshalltown, Iowa Charles, 90, passed away at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown on September 27, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents: Dewey and Myrtle Loney; wife Avis in 1951; sons: Joe Loney in 2000, and Charles Jr. in 1953; and brothers: Paul and Dewey Jr. Charles is survived by his children: Connie (Gaylan) Devine of Phoenix, Fred (Sharon) Loney of Chariton, Linda Barsay of Phoenix, Dixie (Chuck) Smith of North Bend, WA, and Bobby (Janelle) Loney of Des Moines; his sister, Shirley Lampman of California; and sisters-in-law: Maxine Loney, wife of Paul, of Des Moines, and Elizabeth Loney, wife of Dewey Jr., of Chariton; 17 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
