A celebration of life gathering for Bobby Sinclair, 64, of Milo, formerly of Chariton, will be held Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Bobby passed away suddenly at his home on August 17th. Memorials may be made in care of his family to be designated at a later date. Robert Edwin Sinclair was born to Ole and Nora Myers Sinclair in Des Moines, Iowa on March 21, 1956. He grew up in Des Moines graduating from Lincoln High School in 1974. He then began working with his dad in construction, laying brick. Throughout the years, Bobby bartended part time for various bars in the Des Moines area. He retired from Weitz Construction. Bobby was a member of the Union Laborers 177. He collected sports memorabilia, specifically anything from the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Bobby loved trivia and playing slow pitch softball. He loved to cook and grill. He especially enjoyed cooking Italian pastas and sauces. Bobby also liked to smoke various meats. Bobby enjoyed visiting with people. He loved spending time with family and friends. He was devastated by the loss of his daughter and grandson. He will be dearly missed by his son, Brady Sinclair of Waukee; sister, Kathy (Kevin) Mincks; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Ole and Nora Sinclair; daughter, Kelli Sly; grandson, Gavin; and brother, James "Jim" Sinclair. Celebration of Life
