Services for Lesta J. Briggs age 72, will be Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Chariton Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Unity Point Hospice. Lesta passed away Monday, November 13, 2017. She is survived by children: Tammy (Kevin) McRoberts of Chariton; Melissa Amos of Woodward, Gary (Tracy Molloy) Briggs of State Center, and Scott Winters of Des Moines; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings: Deloris Pohl, Richard Pohl, Nancy Squire, and James (Marie) Pohl; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
