Frances Krutsinger, 89, of Chariton, Iowa passed away at the Lucas County Health Center on April 30, 2015. Frances was born in Dallas, Iowa on September 26, 1925, the daughter of George and Gladys (Lovell) Goering who preceded her in death. She was reared in Lacona, Iowa and graduated from high school there. She was married to Dean Krutsinger on September 4, 1943 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. They lived their entire married life on a farm near Chariton, Iowa. Frances had to work hard a as a young youth helping her parents on the farm and with taking care of her younger siblings. She worked as a Home Health Aide for several years. She loved and enjoyed her family, gardening, flowers, and was a great cook. Frances Krutsinger is survived by three sons: Dean (Liz) Krutsinger of Chariton, Iowa, George (Joyce) Krutsinger of Unionville, Missouri, Tony Krutsinger of Chariton, Iowa; two daughters, Linda Krutsinger of Iowa City, Iowa and Carolyn (Larry) Montgomery of Unionville, Missouri; one sister, Katherine Jurgensen of New Virginia, Iowa; and one brother, Dee Goering of Leon, Iowa. Also surviving are eight grandkids and seventeen great grandkids. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Krutsinger; two sons, David Krutsinger and Jerry Krutsinger; eight brothers: Melvin Goering, Ferdinand Goering, Roy Goering, Darrell Goering, Ivan Goering, George Goering, and Kenneth Goering; and one sister, Rosalie Goering. Graveside services will be held at Mt Zion Cemetery at a later date. Memorials for Frances have been suggested to the Mt Zion Cemetery.
