Fern VanHorn Clarke

Fern VanHorn Clarke, 88 of Chariton, passed away on January 7, 2016 at the Chariton Nursing & Rehab Center. Services will be held at a later date. Fern is survived by her husband, Jody (Hank) Clarke of Chariton; sons, Clayton Bruce VanHorn (Mary) of Des Moines and Joel VanHorn (Terri) of Des Moines; daughter, Rhonda Marie Clark of Sheridan, Wyoming; daughter-in-law, Dee VanHorn of Ankeny; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael; brothers: Earl, Lloyd and Vern; and sisters, Viola and June.
